Today I’m talking with Estrella, a first-gen Latina community leader who has established a community of over 87K+ students and post-grads through her work as a content creator, College + Post Grad Coach, and podcast host of Cafecito con Estrellita®.
Estrella’s career started in the social media industry in 2019, stemming from her passion for higher education attainment for Latinas, and conducting undergraduate qualitative research. Her dedication to uplifting and educating her community earned her a TEDx Talk, and the opportunity to work with big named brands such as McDonalds, Amazon, and Mitú for educational campaigns and projects. She also served as a memorable speaker throughout the years, for school wide events at Harvard, University of Notre Dame, and California State University, and Channel Islands to thousands of first-generation, Latinx and Hispanic students.
