Episode 04: Jasmine Lopez
Hey hey! Welcome back! Today’s episode is FIRE. We had filmed the first interview in March of 2020, and quickly realized I had to re-evaluate how we went forward with these interviews because scheduling several in person interviews a day wasn’t going to be an option. So this was recorded back in the summer of 2020, with just Jasmine and I and the video team, shout out to Vanessa & Helio from fortyONE films.
I wanted to make the most of our time, so we had a more in-depth conversation and really dove deep into our stories and our work, specifically how we both shifted our perspectives on our worth as Latinas.
Jasmine is an amazing orator and she shares SO much wisdom every time I hang out with her. She’s a photographer, founder of a non-profit, and a huge advocate for mental health.
Since this was filmed, I was asked to be part of the board for The Fire House Dream, and I’m super honored to be a part of such an amazing vision.
